So … have a great product. They have an impressive site and strong business cards. They even have letterhead really great. But so far almost unused and unnoticed. They believe that people were lined up at your door to buy your product, but it’s not just happened. What is the problem?

No one will know about your product, promote it. They have a very solid marketing plan that will carry on their work. But before jumping out and promote, make sure to have some basics first. Let’s take a look at how to begin.

1 Do your research. It’s amazing how many small businesses do not perform this crucial step. Not enough to have a great product. You must have a realistic picture of the market. Determine who to use on most product images. They will become your target group marketing. Determine who your competitors. Look at what they do to promote themselves. (Tip: A great place to look is in the magazines). Second Determine your budget. Be realistic, but they understand that marketing should be a big part of your budget is. People do not realize that they need you and your product until you tell them. If you decide on your budget, stick to it. Now comes the fun part … go ahead and promote! It’s so simple, you say? Oh, but it is. Third Develop marketing materials. This includes brochures, flyers, a page glossies, newsletters, etc. Put some thought into this step, since it must be consistent and fluent with the image you want your company to the project. This is strong, precise and attentive. Think like your target consumers … see what they want?

4 Participate in promotional activities. Sponsor a Little League team or a local “fun run”. Volunteers to a section of the road (you get your name on a plaque) to clean. Participation in fairs (health fairs, job fairs, etc..) Get a booth at a trade show. For gifts (hats, mugs, calendars, pens) and hand out these functions. Participate in community projects and clubs (Rotary, Chamber of Commerce). If your goal is to support networks in the meetings and hand out cards. Donate your product as prizes in fundraising raffles. Put magnetic signs on your car. The idea is to get you and your business in front of people. Make it as often as possible, creative, can think of so many.

5 Becoming a market leader in its field. You are a leader by promoting itself as one! You know, you know what you’re talking about and are good at what you do … so everyone knows, too! Begin at conferences, association meetings, talking, etc., to write for magazines. Create newsletters. Write a book! If you are perceived as an expert in your field, then that will be! The public perception is everything.

6 Develop a campaign by the media. It sounds daunting, but believe me, not really. Take a pen (or turn off the computer) and start writing! Writing press releases, press kits and articles. Collect and transmit their blogs blog about Twitter. Get a presence on Facebook. Write and publish articles in electronic journals. The more people that read his writings is more than the publicity that is the ultimate goal. 7th Use a “Friends of marketing campaign.” Networks run it with somebody in a complementary business (for example, a pet shop and dog salon business) to advertising campaigns. You can “recommendations from friends” to do with each other and come together to perform competitions.

8 Place all the documents from his office to work for you. I’m sure you already have your letterhead, business cards and a website. But do not forget the envelopes, email signature, fax cover sheets and receipts. Everything that comes into your office may, with your logo and slogan. Why not? If you leave your office in any case, this could be a dual purpose: advertising!

9 Having measurable goals. This means … Do not say to himself, saying instead, “I will strengthen my marketing efforts.” “I’m 150 letters of sale to the consumer to send and distribute local target of a mailing of 500 pilots later this month have. Do not use vague about their goals, or they may see inaccurate results.

10th advertising strategy does not always mean in-your-face marketing. advertising strategy also includes the excellent customer service. If you have a reputation for first class service to contribute to the image you are trying to project. References Ask for references. Probably a third of the business comes from. Assign a specific amount of time each week to discuss their current strategy and review that meets your needs. ‘ / p> A good marketing strategy is a key to a marketing campaign, and in my opinion, the most fun! It’s really easy … just to know who your target group and set before them in many ways than you might think. Once the creative juices flowing I think you’ll see that the possibilities are endless!
